MathGym (Faculty Tutor Q&A Centre in Mathematics)
What can MathGym do for students?
The Department of Mathematics will offer one or two consultation desks in Room 202, Lady Shaw Building. Our tutors will sit down with you on a one-to-one basis, and discuss your math problems. Appointments are available through this online booking system on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to stay in the Centre and study, meeting our tutors as questions arise. With no cost to you, just stop by and we will be happy to assist you!

Our tutorial services mainly focus on the first-year levels of Calculus and Linear Algebra.
Location
MathGym is located in Room 202 on the second floor of the Lady Shaw Building, in the Department of Mathematics.
Once you exit the lift and turn right, you will see Room 202.
Hours of operation
Weekdays, 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm. See who is on duty in the weekly desk roster.
Our TAs have the right to refuse to meet you in a face-to-face manner if they are unable to identify who you are through your registered ID number and full name.
Note that MathGym will be closed whenever the university is closed.
